Wasn’t there a song when you were younger about Teddy Bears having a picnic?? Well, these bears are at the beach enjoying a day of fun in the sun! You could bake and decorate cupcakes like these with the help of a parent or older brother or sister…what do you think you need to do it? Teddy Grahams and …???
thanks to bakerella for the delicious idea and picture
I’ve been busy rehearsing all week for the County Fair next Friday. I have decided to do the Taylor Swift song from the talent show and another song, “Beautiful”, by one of mom’s favorites Carole King. The Cupcakes will be my back up singers for “Our Song” and I think the crowd will really like that…I hope! Jessica
Members in The Cupcakes Club this month received this adorable, too cute, great for sleepovers, cupcake roll case with mirror! We think it’s a must-have to hold your adorable hair accessories or your necessary toothbrush and favorite toothpaste…keep clean but keep it cute, cupcake!
Sunkist, with proud supporters Rubbermaid® and Domino®/C&H® Sugar, is inviting kids 7 to 12 years old across America to Take a Stand® for their favorite charity. It’s a rewarding way to squeeze some fun into summer and give back to the community. Ask mom or dad if you can go to the Take a Stand website to learn more. Take a Stand knows how much kids want to help make a difference! And with a little encouragement and a lemonade stand, families can squeeze their way into raising money for their favorite charity. The real excitement is that Sunkist plans to give out 20,000 free lemonade stands this summer, while supplies last, to thoughtful kids eager to make a difference and pledge the money they earn to a charity of their choice. Talk it over with your parents and Take A Stand!
This is going to be a summer I never forget! I just hope I don’t forget everything that Leslie is teaching me about horses. The most important thing (besides the horse) is your helmet–always wear one and don’t feel goofy wearing it. I can totally understand because the horses are SO big and tall! Other equipment that I learned about:
Tack: The equipment worn by your horse.
Bit: Horse’s mouthpiece.
Bridle: Headgear used on the horse during riding.
Halter: Equipment worn on the horse’s head for leading or tying.
Wow! It’s like learning another language…I can relate to how Valentina must feel sometimes at our lunch table! Gotta get a shower…I smell like a barn! Ashley
What do you get if you put 50 middle school girls together who all want to cheer? My Dad said “a mess”, but what you really get is a LOUD, spirit packed football field! At first, it was sort of crazy…I knew a few girls from my school but I was put in a group where I didn’t know anyone! We learned cheers and had to put together a floor cheer to show everyone…it was fun although one girl in my group is not the nicest person. Why can’t girls just get a long with everyone else? I mean, we are all at this camp to learn and have fun, right?! Anyways, our group did not win the spirit stick today (working together, performing well, showing spirit throughout the day) BUT maybe tomorrow when I’m in a new group it could happen! Let’s go–GO–GO–GO! Sierra
When you’re chillin by the pool why not have some fun, get active, and make a splash! Have someone call out a “jump” and the rest of you need to jump in the pool and look like the jump:
What a great weekend! All the Cupcakes got together to have a slumber party at my house Saturday night. My dad put up a tent and we slept outside…it was pretty cool. Everyone is super busy this summer and it will be fun to hear about everyone’s adventures when we get together next. Sunday morning we went over to the pool and hung out and then the boys started being annoying and splashing us so we left. I’m helping my Dad clean out the garage anyways. Later, Summer
