Sierra told me that she would like to start sewing to make clothes and I asked if we could both learn. She thinks it’s a great idea and we are going to start with headbands, scarves, and then start to do fun things to our clothes. It’s almost like we are fashion designers–and that is a job that would be amazing! Valentina

The 2008 Olympics begin 8/8/08 in China. What do you know about China? Besides the fact that we LOVE chinese food! Did you know there is a Great Wall of China that is about 4000 miles long? Wow! That’s HUGE! From California to New York is about 2,500 miles. That IS a Great Wall!!

My mom and I  have been hitting the malls but I can’t seem to find anything that’s *just right* to add to my closet. I’ve looked at magazines and I watch TV for ideas but I never see exactly what I’m looking for. My mom knows how to sew and I think I’m going to ask her to teach me how to use the sewing machine so I can do my OWN thing…adding ribbons, making a skirt shorter, taking off a sleeve…I’ll be my own fashion designer!  Sorrel or Chestnut, Bay, Brown, White, Pinto, Gray,Black, Buckskin, Dun, Palomino, or Roan…know what those are?? They are different colors of horses…and you thought cupcakes had lots of flavors!! It’s fun to learn all the stuff Leslie teaches me about horses…btw, this week I am riding a palomino named Sandy and she is so sweet and beautiful..l8r! Ashley
