Goodbye 2008….Hello 2009!
Wednesday, December 31st, 2008
Get your party hats on girlfriends because it looks like we’ll be saying “hello” to the New Year at Summer’s house! All of the Cupcakes will be there but first we are going to Michael’s house for a “pre-party” until 10pm. Michael has always had a *crush* on Summer since she tried out for the soccer team…but currently, I am NOT crushing on anyone (well, there is that 7th grade boy- but I’m sure he won’t be there!) Dancing, eating, and seeing lots of friends is what I’m up for–Happy 2009! Sierra

Tuesday, December 30th, 2008We LOVE layers! Here is a play by play of an outfit created with layers, old and new. White t-shirt (everyone has at least ONE) + summer’s favorite smock top (and you thought you could only wear it in hot temps…) + the new cardigan you just got (or, check the sales for great prices!) = the perfect layered outfit. Can you say SALE??!! Me and my girl, Sierra, will be hitting the malls to grab some great deals at 50% off or more tomorrow! I LOVE a great sale and I love all the people hustling about looking for a bargain-it’s really fun- although my mom gets a little annoyed with the traffic. Good luck if you go sale shopping-let me know what you got! AShley

Wednesday, December 24th, 2008
Feliz Navidad everyone! Did you know that the poinsettia grew in Mexico and was brought to the United States in the 1800’s? So, I guess you have my country to thank for the red, leafy plant you see everywhere this time of year! I’m a little sad that I can’t be in Mexico but it will be fun to have snow and the cool weather here. We are celebrating at my home by going to church and coming home to a feast with roast turkey and tamales, piñatas, and sparklers! I hope your holiday is filled with fun and family~ Valentina
