If you ever have the chance….we highly recommend photos taken in a photo booth with your best friends. They’re always fun to look at- now and in the future- and who knows how many friends can fit into a photo booth!

Did you hear about??! You hear a juicy tidbit from a friend, who heard it from another friend, who heard it from a person in the hall, who read it on a note passed in math class, which was written by somebody who probably just made it up. What do you do?

When a person or a group makes up a rumor about someone or decides to spread nasty gossip, it’s usually to hurt someone, break up a friendship, or make someone less popular.

If you decide that the rumor is hurtful in some way, make a stand! Decide that you don’t want to take part in spreading it and let it go. Have the rumor stop with you and I bet that others will follow…good job Cupcake!

COOKIES??!! On The Cupcakes Club??! You bet! These are one of the EASIEST cookies to make and we thought it would be fun on a cold day to try out–delicious! Ask your parents for help if you need it!

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

1 C. peanut butter
3/4 C. sugar
1 egg

Preheat your oven to 325F.

Mix together peanut butter, sugar, and egg until combined. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.

Roll the chilled dough into 2” balls. Flatten each ball with a fork coated in sugar, making a criss cross pattern.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until light golden brown.

Then for the chocolate! Get out your favorite chocolate (chips, baking squares, etc)… and melt! The easiest way to melt chocolate is to stick it right in the microwave. Chocolate is really easy to burn, so start out with your microwave on HALF power, and microwave chocolate for 1 minute. Take out and stir. If the chocolate is not fully melted yet, microwave for 10 more seconds, then stir again. Keep doing this until your chocolate is melted.

Dip one half of your cookie in the chocolate, and then if you want to… dip in crushed peanuts! Chill in the refrigerator until chocolate is hardened.

 Valentine’s Day was amazing! At school, the Student Council sends out candy grams (they actually have sweettarts on them…not chocolate) and I just happened to get one from Caribou Caldwell–major crush! The note said “great to study with you” so it was nothing wonderful- but he did think of me! Sierra handed out the most adorable cupcakes and cookies to everyone- so cute! There was no Valentine’s dance…bummer…but I hung out with Summer this weekend. Hope you had a great weekend! Ashley
