Wow! Still on the road but we’ve missed ALL of you Cupcakes! We hope you have been keeping yourself busy while we’ve been driving here, there, and everywhere that had Cupcakes (and it has let us create some great busywork giveaways for roadtrips…gotta have fun in the car, train, or plane!) Here’s what you need to do:

Go to the ~saint Cupcake~ website HERE and click “start shopping“. Your mission is to drool (roll your mouse over the pics…) and decide on the 3 cake flavors, 3 icings and 3 sprinkles you would choose if you won (you are SO lucky!)

Memorial Day three day holiday is known as the weekend summer begins! Any outdoor plans for you? Camping? Fun on the lake? S’mores? Whatever you do- have fun Cupcake!

 The Student Council was giving out ice cream cones at school to kids that have never missed a day of school…and there were lots of kids! I think I scooped about a hundred or more scoops of ice cream…but none for me. I missed three days this year because I was sick…what about you? Did you miss any? If you didn’t– go and get yourself an ice cream cone and pat yourself on the back- congratulations to you! Valentina

When it comes to blowing bubbles…bigger is better! Here’s a recipe for you to play with during the summer months to blow your own HUGE bubbles:

• 6 cups water
• 1 cup light corn syrup
• 2 cups Joy dishwashing soap (If using an ultra concentrated dishwashing liquid, use only 1 1/3 cups)

Directions

1. In a large bowl (at least 3 quarts) stir water and corn syrup until combined.

2. Add dishwashing liquid and stir very gently until well mixed. (Try not to make any bubbles in your mix.)
3. Dip (don’t stir) bubble wands into bubble liquid and blow bubbles. Even a hula hoop can be the perfect wand (this one was covered with yarn to keep it dry when dipping=bigger bubbles!)
