I just finished the first week of summer soccer with the 6-8 year old girls and boys –I’m exhausted! It’s really fun to teach them and they love to see if they can score on me ( I do let some of the kids that struggle make a goal!) but I am BEAT by the end of the day. Michael asked if I wanted to go see “UP” this weekend with some of the other kids from soccer–but I’m not sure if I”ll go. I don’ t like it when people (hello Ashley!) think that we’re dating…because we’re not…we’re just friends and friends like to do things together, right? Have a good weekend, Summer

Since Summer will officially be here in a couple of days, we think it’s a great time to start a journal…to make those changes you might have been thinking about. Ours might include:

This summer I vow to:

- eat as many pints of blueberries as I can before they go out of season
- wear sunscreen
- go on ice cream runs on my bike
- go to Mount Rushmore - not wear the same thing everyday
- use up my multiple boxes of sparklers
