I forgot to mention that I got “runner up” or second place in the Spelling Bee. It was exciting and if I keep on working hard I could win next year 
I missed the word “recommend”-adding another “c”-BUT- this weekend the spelling bee champion (Brooke Winters/8th grade) and I are going to the State Spelling Bee. I don’t really have to worry about performing unless Brooke faints or gets sick before we’re up (I hope she doesn’t do either!!) So, atleast I’m not so nervous for ME as I am for someone else…do you get nervous when your friends are trying out for something they really want?! I always get nervous for Sierra when she auditions for plays:) Hope your weekend will BEE happy! Valentina
